Objectives

  • To Promote the Sports Rehabilitation area of study to address the sports injuries in a befitting manner
  • To raise the sports psychology mental studio/lab in the country to enhance the performance of the players
  • To raise the School of Sports Sciences to promote Higher Studies in this area and to raise level of sports performance at Olympic level

Professional Experience

  • Currently working as Professor of Sports Sciences, Head Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Health Services Academy from 18th October 2023 onward.
  • Worked as Professor/Principal at Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences, AL Nafees Medical College & Hospital, ISRA University Islamabad Campus from July 2020 till 17th October 2023.
  • Consultant for Sports Policy Punjab, 2019/20 at Sports Board Punjab and also Submitted the Sports School project to Sports Board Punjab for further process.
  • Worked as Associate Professor/Chairman Department of Sports Sciences at Imperial College of Business Studies Lahore May 2017-July 2020.
  • 21 June 2014- 1st May 2017 worked as Principal/Associate Professor, First College of Sport Sciences & Research Riphah International University Faisalabad Campus on permanent basis.
  • December 5, 2012- June 20, 2014 worked as Assistant Professor in the Department of Sport Sciences & Physical Education, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur on Contractual basis.
  • May 25, 2005- December 4, 2012 worked at Government College University, Lahore as Lecturer (Sport Sciences & Physical Education) on permanent basis.
  • April, 1996 to 24th May, 2005 worked as In-charge Sports and Houses Games Co-Ordinator at University College Lahore a Project of Bloomfield Hall (PVT) Limited.

  • Winner (1st Position) 10 km Road Race in 1989 Nova Scotia, Canada
  • Winner (2nd Position) Half Marathon (26 km) in 1989, Nova Scotia, Canada.

  • Member Punjab University Teaching Department Team Basketball, 2001-2003.
  • Volleyball, Badminton, Cricket and Hockey for the Session, 2001-2003.
  • Winner 800m, 1500m, 5000m at Inter Collegiate, All Pakistan Federal Board Athletic Championships, 1990-1992.
